ok...so I know I went through the hassle of making my blog private....but mostly I just wanted to lose some followers. If you didn't hear, my blog is a bit popular in Russia, which would be cool if I was Russian, or knew people in Russia, but none of those are happening to me at the moment. So I am going to give it a week or so, and then turn it back to a public blog. And I'll check to be sure my Russian followers have dropped off, and if so, it will remain public. Otherwise this blog is doomed to be private forever, which coincedentally means that I will not post very often.
Thanks for the understanding friends.
I'll try to update with some fun pictures soon!

Some fun things we have done recently:
-Discovery Park, where Mike and I got engaged 4 years ago. We found an awesome tide pool with a starfish, shrimp, hermit crabs and regular crabs, and some anemone.
-Memorial Day Service at the Sultan Cemetary. It was really nice to go and visit Mike's great-grandparents grave and honor those who have given their lives for our country.
-Lots of playing and enjoying my girls.
-Vancouver. I came down for my brother's birthday! Happy 23 bud!!

What kid doesn't like cookies?
Mine sure do.
Even little Leah.

Beach day!

We had so much fun at the beach! We first hit up the Tillamook Cheese Factory. We had ice cream, squeaky cheese and beef stick for lunch there. Then we headed to my family's favorite spot on the coast, Cape Lookout. It was a perfect day: 75, no wind, and not to crowded. We played, relaxed, Mike and Mitch skim boarded, I took thousands of pictures, Addie could've dug in the sand all day and Leah is just stinkin cute. It was great to be there with my family and we missed Kenna, but we will go again when she's home.
The only bummer of our trip was I had a sore throat, Leah had a cold and Addie was grouchy (grouchy ended up meaning two ear infections).
I was supposed to stay at my parents for a few more day, but cut the trip short to go home and see medical attention. This is Addie's first ear infection ever, so really I was clueless. I thought I had strep, but luckily it was just a nasty cold and same with Leah. Much thanks to the walk-in clinic, though. The were so great and tried to get us in and out as fast as possible.

I'm Back!

I must admit that not blogging for a while was nice. But here is a recap of the past 2 weeks.
Mike's oldest sister, Jess, and her husband Nate, came into town. They have 5 kids and had a trip out here sans kids. We went to the tulip festival, ate too much food, cleaned my house, and had a great time. Leah looks just like Jess, which is a very good thing.
Addie got a bike and we are wanting the weather to warm up so we can get rolling.
Leah can stand for just a second on her own. It scares her when she realizes what she's doing, and quickly sits down.
For my birthday (25....I actually am starting to feel old), we went swimming as a family. Addie is a non-stop kind of kid and literally jumped around for 90 minutes. Leah was so adorable in her bumble bee suit. I bought myself a new swim suit, too! Mike and I are going out Friday to celebrate. I am pretty excited for a date.
Today is day one of sleep training Leah. I just got fed up with putting her to sleep today, and I did it! Listening to her scream breaks my heart because she is such a happy baby. But this will be better for both of us in the end.
I'll put up pictures of some crafts we have done and we got our garden in.
