Addie knows...

So we have a few pictures in our home. At the bottom of the stairs is this one. It is a ainting by Del Parson and we love it.

The other night, Addie was fussy and just being a pill. Mike took her for a few minutes so I could get dinner ready. I heard him talking very quietly to her. He said, "Addie, who is that?" I looked up. Addie stopped fussing got real quiet and then smiled. She reached to the picture. Mike kept asking her who it was and she just kept smiling. She then started to talk to the picture and kept reaching. I walked over there and Mike asked if I had ever shown her the picture before and sadly, I realized that I hadn't. I got a little teary eyed at this small experience. Today, I showed her a few other pictures we have in our home, and none got the same reaction. She knows who He is and it is my job to keep her close to Him. Oh, the things I have learned from this beautiful child.

SHOES!!

So... I have a shoe girl on my hands.

She doesn't mind wearing shoes, they just don't stay on her little feet!

As she has learned to scoot around though, she has fallen in love with other people's shoes! Beware of Addie at your feet, she will eat your shoes!

Mukilteo Beach

We have had no winter this year.
No snow; only a few days of actual cold. We have only been skiing (together) 3 times. This week has been averaging about 60!
to CELEBRATE, we went to the
BEACH!
Not the beach beach, but Mukilteo Beach.
It was so nice to get out of the house and be outside!

I love this picture of Mike and Addie. It just makes me smile when I look at it.

I realized that I don't have too many pictures of just Mike. I took this one and I am pretty sure that I told him I wasn't taking a picture. I am soo sly.....

Family Picture. We also have very few whole family pictures. I was so bummed at the thought of this.


ON A SEPARATE NOTE.....
I have started putting Addie's hair in a little pony tail on the top of her head. I think it is super cute. And.... TAH-DAH!! She can sit. Ok, so she isnt great, but she can stay up for a while, but then after a minute or so, she will either start to lean way forward or tip over to the side.

TODAY

We took some pictures today. These are just three of.... 15 or 20.

I just think we have the cutest baby ever.

Addie reaching for the camera... I just thought this picture was sooo funny. If she had gotten a hold of it, it would have gone straight to the mouth.

I was interrupting her TV time.

And just like her mom used to be a cheerleader with awesome jumps (if I do say so myself), she is practicing her toe touches!
