This week, Addie has been rather funny. She usually says pretty funny things, but something about this week has been hilarious.
I heard Addie clap her hands and asked why she clapped. "Mom, I'm just giving myself a high five."
She was signing the other night a song she made up. "Chicken patties go to bed."
"Mom, you are the witch."
Me: "I love you!"
Addie: "I love you, too!"
Me: "sleep well!"
Addie: "you too!"
Me: "you're pretty!"
Addie: "uummm, no"
Me: "you're beautiful!"
Addie: "no, you aren't"
"These jammies are gorgeous!"
"Addie, how do you feel when you make bad choices?" "I feel grumpy"
We went to mall and a kind woman held the door for us. As I thanked her, Addie says, "mom she has a big butt!" I covered her mouth and she said, "don't cover my mouth, she just has a big butt!"
And something I never thought I'd have to say, "take that flash light out of your underwear."
