Public or private?

I think everyone goes through this with their blog, but when looking at a few things tonight, I think I am going private....

Things that make me happy

I love looking back through my pictures and having some sweet memories. My girls time as babies is going by to fast and learning to enjoy small moments is an art that sometimes I overlook. Not just enjoying those moments, but committing them to memory. Like how Leah loves to be up in my face. I get pinched and slobered on and warm baby breath is blown on my cheeks. Its just perfect. Hearing Addie's voice, as she twirls in her princes dress, say, "dreens cun choo mom!" (dreams come true) Every time I tell her, "Yes, they do!" Then I tear up and know my mom was always right.

Easter Weekend in Pictures

We went to the zoo for our Easter egg hunt. It was insane....but we finished with our hunt and saw the animals before it got to busy. We were the first ones in the Willawong Bird Station. It was awesome to have it to ourselves. 

On Easter morning, Mike had a meeting so we decided to do baskets after naps. I am also kind of a Grinch and didn't want to dye eggs, so we didn't. For dinner I made my mom's lasagna. Mike doesn't like ham, so we branched out. With the exception of not having quite enough sauce, it was great. 

We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening in our backyard. It was gorgeous and we took advantage of it. Seriously, I am so grateful for sunny weather and being able to get outside with the girls. We were getting cabin fever. 

It had been a rough weekend for me. I have been feeling so exhausted and a few things didn't turn out how I had expected. And last night when we were outside playing, while dinner was in the oven, I started thinking. I am so lucky. I have a great husband with whom I have a strong relationship, two beautiful healthy daughters, food to eat, a nice house, so many blessings. Suddenly the things that's went wrong had no weight anymore and I felt 80% better (I was still very tired...) I Am loking forward to a nice week though!

I don't feel like I have much to say.

But I will say that instagram is my new favorite. Looking forward to tomorrow. 

Its been a long week....and this Friday came early (thanks for the 5am song little bird, but I'm pretty sure that only Cinderela likes to get up at the crack of dawn...)

Have I mentioned how much I appreciate th glimpses of the sun we have had recently? SO good for the soul. 

I HATE shopping at holiday time... 

PS: Leah is weaing 9 to 12 month clothes now. Where did my baby go? She loves waving now.

Spring

Today finally felt like spring, so we went to the park. It was gorgeous. 

Weekend

We went to Vancouver for General Conference weekend. It was fun to see everyone.

Picture two: Kenna took a 2 1/2 hour nap with Little Leah. 

Picture Three: On the drive home, Addie was so tired, she literally Fell asleep saying yucky. 

But we had fun. I always love Sonic Happy Hour and Craft Warehouse. And the people and desserts are always a plus.
